| Historic Boston Sightseeing Cruise
The Historic Boston Sightseeing Cruise is a great 90-minute narrated harbor cruise that highlights the many historic sites along the inner harbor and ventures out beyond Logan Airport and Castle Island, where you will get a chance to see some of the Harbor Islands National Park Area.
You will sail by the Boston Tea Party ship, the Old North Church, Bunker Hill, and of course... Old Ironsides.
As you sail toward the outer harbor you will pass the site of America's first defensive fortification on Castle Island.
However, the structure you will be observing, Fort Independence, is, in fact, the 8th such structure built on this piece of land...which, by the way, is no longer an island.
It was connected to the mainland in the 1930s and is a vibrant part of what is known as South Boston. Historic Boston Sightseeing Cruise Details Sailing Dates: May 16, 2009 - September 7, 2009 Daily
